Encinitas Author Teaches SDSU Business Writing Program

Published author Anne Bromley is also a writing instructor and consultant who will teach the Professional Certificate in Business Writing program through SDSU’s College of Extended Studies this semester.

She recently wrote her first story picture book The Lunch Thief, which was released by Tilbury House Publishers. A widely published writer and award-winning educator, she has taught professional writing classes for over 20 years.

“The class was excellent. I just received a promotion where I’m involved in writing and editing contract specifications. The instructor brought out a lot of great suggestions in regard to the thought process before one begins to write, which I have already implemented. The instructor did an outstanding job in both her presentation and teaching,” said Scott Tant of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.

This Business Writing seminar is a series of three half-day workshops designed for professionals who would like to hone their writing skills. They include:

Polishing Your Grammar Skills, Thursday, March 8, 8:30 am-12 pm

The Five Essential Steps, Thursday, March 15, 8:30 am-12 pm

Editing and Proofreading, Thursday, March 22, 8:30 am-12 pm

The cost for each course is $185. There is a $20 discount on each course if you take all three courses. For more information, call (619) 594-1138, email mabeyta@mail.sdsu.edu or visit www.neverstoplearning.net/bw. The website includes a video.
