Welcome 'Green Luigi and Panda Next Door'

La Costa Heights elementary has its own version of the 'Surfing Madonna.'

Holy shinola! La Costa Heights elementary school has its own version of the Surfing Madonna. I dubbed it 'Green Luigi and Panda Next Door.'

This piece of art graffiti has been tagged on the handball courts. I went into the office and told them that as a paying PTA mother "I hope they don't take it down, at least until they put the water faucets back in." We want our water, filtered preferably.

If 'Green Luigi and Panda Next Door' are covered up before the water faucets are up and running, I will bring this issue up on Friday at the PTA meeting at 11:30 a.m. Oh, I dare, and I'll be there with bells on my fingers and rings on my toes.  IMHO, if they can cover up graffiti art quick like that, what's taking so long for our water? The kids are thirsty.
