As projects become more complex, project managers and teams are often being asked to do more with less. Even so, executives and clients expect innovation, agility, and responsiveness.
SDSU’s College of Extended Studies offers project management training, leading to a Professional Certificate in Project Management, designed to give project managers (and any other professionals who work on projects) the tools they need to successfully manage any type of project - regardless of scope or industry.
The College has scheduled two project management certificate program courses beginning in July, including:
Scope, Time, and Cost, Wednesdays, July 11-August 8, 6-9 pm
This course will focus on the processes required to ensure that the project includes all the work required – and only the work required – to complete the project successfully.
Project Risk Management, Mondays, July 16-August 13, 6-9 pm
In this course, students will learn and apply a proactive approach to threats and opportunities based on an understanding of the risk management process.
SDSU's College of Extended Studies reaches out to the greater San Diego community, the nation, and the world with a wide variety of lifelong learning classes, seminars, and certificate programs. Career advancement courses are offered in many areas of management, leadership, and quality improvement while self-enrichment courses range from accounting to web design.
