Encinitas Patch Week in Review

Encinitas residents voiced concerns Wednesday night over SANDAG’s proposed .  The beach nourishment project is slated to take place in 2012 and would affect 11 sites in San Diego County, including Cardiff, Leucadia, Moonlight Beach and Batiquitos.

John Leendert Oskam—believed by authorities to be the so-called —was captured Thursday in Encinitas following his 11th alleged holdup.  Oskam was arraigned Friday on federal charges and has been ordered held without bail pending a hearing Tuesday before Magistrate Judge Jan Adler.
