Encinitas Rotary Sponsors Beer Fest This Weekend

Hop heads from all over San Diego County will unite in Cardiff Saturday at MiraCosta College San Elijo campus, as the Encinitas Rotary Club hosts Brew Fest Encinitas.
The event, which runs from 4-7 p.m., will feature 15 craft breweries offering tastes to those in attendance. Some of the prominent local breweries appearing are: The Lost Abbey, Green Flash, and Stone. Others include Firestone Walker and Iron Fist.
General admission is $40 and includes 10 "tasting" samples. VIP tickets are $75. Designated drivers are free. Tickets can be purchased at the event website: BrewFestEncinitas.com.
Additionally, there will be food available for purchase from some of the region's best food trucks.
Proceeds will benefit local charities like the Community Resource Center, Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA, Military Outreach Ministry and Muscular Dystrophy Association along with the MiraCosta College Foundation.
