Brande Silverthorn is a Forensic Evidence Technician with the San Diego Sheriff’s Department. She has been working in the forensic science field since 2005. Her career began with the San Diego Police Department where she worked as a Crime Scene Specialist. While at the San Diego Police Department, Brande has been involved in the investigation of 120 serious crime investigations including homicides, officer-involved shootings, excavations, sexual assault and child abuse cases. She is qualified as an expert witness in crime scene processing and evidence collection.Free to the public.
