For the month of February, the Museum presents the history of transportation in the 1800s. First the stagecoach ran from San Diego to Los Angeles stopping in Olivenhain. Following El Camino Real, it took 24 hours to make the trip with an overnight stay at San Juan Capistrano. Later, railroad tracks were laid down and train stations sprung up in Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff and Encinitas.
