Free Holiday Open House and Poinsettia Tours at Weidner's Saturday

Join the lovely staff at this Saturday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a free holiday open house.

The open house will feature free poinsettia greenhouse tours, holiday arrangement ideas, poinsettia specials, door prizes, and a special holiday photo spot for all visitors to partake in. Be sure to bring cameras, and your kids in holiday-themed attire, as there will be numerous family photo opportunities.

This free, behind-the-scenes look at the greenhouses, and the thousands of Ecke poinsettias grown and raised at Weidner's, is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. An added bonus of the open house is that visitors who take the poinsettia greenhouse tour then get a discount on any purchased poinsettias.

The holiday open house will be the only day of the season that Weidner's will be offering the very popular poinsettia tours. Weidner's suggests coming early to be sure to see all the behind-the-scenes excitement. Evelyn Weidner, who started Weidner's Gardens with her husband, Bob, in 1973, said: "With proper care, today’s modern poinsettias will stay in bloom for months.
