Just in Time for Christmas, Meet Vixen

"Vixen” is the pet of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. She’s an 11 month old, 5-1/2 pound, spayed, female, Tabby cat with a short fur coat.

Vixen is more petite and more quiet than the other guests in the RCHS cattery. While the other cats might greet you with a hearty “Meow-ry Christmas,” Vixen is more likely to purr and wish you a “Happy Mew Year.” She’s shy when she meets new people. But once her purr-sonality comes out Vixen is not shy about asking for attention…especially tummy rubs.

Vixen is almost a year old and she still acts like a kitten, but she’s not going to grow much more. One of the care providers in the cattery describes her as “a cat that’s light on her paws.”
