Meet Karma

Each week, Encinitas Patch works with the to feature a pet in need of a loving home.

This week, meet Karma, a 2 pound baby with all 9 lives ahead of her.

Karma is a 2-month-old kitten, so she’s full of energy and each day brings new exploration. She has quite the doll-face and is a sweet tempered girl who only needs a soft place to take catnaps and plenty of cuddle time to make her happy.

So far, Karma has not been around dogs, but she loved the other six kittens in her litter. Stop by this week and you never know, you may just leave with some good Karma. Or better yet, adopt another kitty though the Better with a Buddy program, and the adoption fee for the second cat is only $75.

Karma is available for adoption at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. Her adoption fee is $175 which includes a medical exam, spay, up to date vaccinations, and microchip identification.

is located at 389 Requeza St. in Encinitas. The hours of operation are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Tuesday, when the shelter opens at 11:30 a.m.
