Looking for some local entertainment this weekend? A is being held to benefit a special man named Henry.
Barrels and Branches, an Encinitas-based nursery and maintenance company, is raising money for an injured employee this weekend. Henry, who fell from a tree last year in an accident that left him a parapalegic, was the "bright spark" of the landscaping team, according to the Help for Henry website.
Barrels and Branches is helping out Henry and his family by holding a benefit concert that will help Henry gain back some of his independence. Music-lovers with big hearts can visit the nursery on June 9 from 4-7 p.m. for live music by The Bigfellas and John Bennett. Enjoy the beautiful nursery grounds, sip on some beverages that will be available for purchase and enjoy the evening.
