Pet of the Week: Norma Jean

This pretty little lady is ready for a loving home.

This week, meet Norma Jean, a laidback lady who gels well with other critters and kids.

  • Breed: Black and White Domestic Short Hair

Norma Jean was surrendered to Rancho Coastal Humane Society by her family when they had to move, but this gives another loving family the opportunity to have this amazing cat all to themselves. She has lived with dogs, cats and children in the past and does well with all of them. She would do well with just about any home.

Norma Jean is shy at first but once she knows you she is very affectionate. She may need some time to adjust to her new home, but RCHS volunteers say they think she will make her new owners very happy.

Norma Jean is available for adoption at Rancho Coastal Humane Society. Her adoption fee of $125 includes medical exam, spay, up-to-date vaccinations, and microchip identification.

 is located at 389 Requeza St. in Encinitas. The hours of operation are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on Tuesday, when the shelter opens at 11:30 a.m.
