Video: Cardiff Surf Classic and Rerip Green Fest

Businesses and attendees from across Southern California came together to promote an array of environmental causes during the two-day event at Seaside Reef.

This weekend the , along with the nonprofit Rerip.org, hosted the . 

From energy to agriculture, a wide variety of businesses and nonprofits showcased sustainable practices and products. 

Cardiff 101 Main Street organization teamed with Rerip.org this year to keep surfboards out of landfills. Rerip recycles old surfboards or makes sure they find a second life in the proper hands.

Local musician was among the entertainment lineup, all of which was preformed on a solar-powered stage. The event also featured crafts for kids, tarp surfing and a surf competition. Cardiff and Solana Beach businesses competed against each other in small, yet playful waves.
