Ceramics Classes in Oceanside

This class is for beginners, intermediate or advanced ceramicists.  For beginners this is an introduction to basic ceramics.  We will work with low fire earthenware clay and use low fire glazes.  Various projects will include: pinch pot, coil, and slab techniques.  Intermediate and advanced levels may work on their own projects, or those demonstrated.

Cost is $75 (Oceanside residents / $85 (non-residents) paid to the Senior Center, and $100 for materials to the instructor. This includes all needed tools, glazes, and firing. Students purchase their own clay - $15 for a 20 lb. bag. 

These are 12 week sessions, either Monday evenings OR Wednesday mornings. 

Classes are: 

• Mondays ~ 5 to 8pm, OR


• Wednesdays ~ 9:30am to 12:30 pm
