Free programs, ideal for children and their families, will be presented on weekends in December.
“This new family series will be a great addition to the programs offered at the Encinitas Library. We want to thank the Betty Scalice Foundation for this gift to the community,” stated Mayor Teresa Arballo Barth.
Each program will include music and other art forms such as a sing-along, theatre and dance, and feature outstanding children and adult performers from Encinitas and greater San Diego. “As a child Betty loved music and singing and through her fund, wanted to give back to the community she loved,” stated Sharon Omahen, Executive Director of the Coastal Community Foundation.
