Spend the Weekend with Family, Fun and Art

The Lux Art Institute is bringing back their family days.

When Friday rolls around, grab your family and head to a local art institute for some artistic fun.

Family Fridays are back at the Lux Art Institute, here in Encinitas. On Feb. 24, families can flock to the Lux for some interactive and hands-on art making. Kids can sit down at Lila Jang’s Wonderland and paint and sculpt their own masterpieces.

Also during Family Friday, visitors can take a self-guided tour that’s easy and fun for all ages. A Lux instructor will be available for helping kids out with art-making and you can finish off your family time at the Lux with a homemade snack outside the Lux Classroom—picnic-style.

Ready to travel through wonderland and art with your family? Family Friday at Lux is Feb. 24 from 1-5 p.m. Members and guests under 21 can enjoy this activity for free. Non-members pay just $5. The art projects during the time are free for two children for every paid adult. Additional children will be charged $5. Have a wonderful weekend with your loved ones!
