In November 2013, students at the Carmel Valley school installed a total of seven works of art representing various San Diego County landmarks. Voters selected three winning installations, which will be displayed as part of the building’s grand opening celebration in mid-2014.

The new Scripps facility in Encinitas will include 27 emergency room beds, more than doubling the size of the hospital’s current ER.
