Taste of Cardiff, Bike to Work Day and Mamafest

Your Patch guide to happiness this weekend.

If the rain and odd May chill have you down in the dumps this week, you need a pick-me-up more than ever. It's not due to be a warm weekend, but it's going to be a sunny one!

Let us guide you to what's happening in Encinitas, San Diego and beyond from May 19 to 25. You can enjoy a tasty night out in Cardiff, a big weekend at the San Dieguito Heritage Museum complete with food and the arts, and a salute to all things Mom.

And for serious sorts, UCSD Extension hosts a discussion this week about your privacy on the Web. In the wake of recent uproars like concerns about iPhone and Android users having their location tracked, it's not a bad point to ponder.
