'Magic' Is Possible

'Magic' ... having faith that the door will open or your magic wand will work. Getting to a better place tomorrow, regardless of how you may feel today, can be as simple as believing.

Do you believe in magic?  It can be as simple as connecting with people, places and things in your life that start a chain reaction for good. Feeling consistent happiness, and fulfillment is achievable. Before, during and after major life events, it is difficult to see beyond the shock and sadness of our recent 'emotional tsunami.'  It helps to hold in your mind that there has to be an 'ending' for a 'new beginning' to be possible. How and why the changes occur may be revealed in retrospect, or forever remain a mystery.  Coming up … assumptions, change, magic, coaching, the mountain, and 'stepping stones.'

Let's consider assumptions and expectations. Picture a long hallway of doors.  You try the first door and second door and they are locked. You pass by the third door thinking it must be locked as well. But sometimes, what appears to be a locked door can be opened with the turn of a doorknob. The catch is that you have to be willing to turn the doorknob to find out. Change is an unavoidable constant in life.  Human beings are not good at embracing change so the universe sometimes forces us out of our comfort zone to facilitate movement to a more positive place. Be open to experience the 'magic' in your life … even if it isn’t what you thought you wanted or ever expected. Magic is real but only if you believe and trust in its existence.

What has pushed you to the boundaries of your sanity?  As a coach, I focus as a 'Divorce Survival Coach' but I also help people feel empowered to deal with life events such as: loss, career changes, children with challenges, and empty nesters.  Full disclosure … a coach is not a counselor. A coach helps you get from point A to point B. This is only possible when you are emotionally healthy enough and motivated to make changes in your life that demand transition, introspection and honesty. I can help you navigate to a better place, but you have to be committed to taking the journey. It is no accident that those who become coaches often receive their own clarity as they are of service to others. I pull from my training as a life coach, personal life challenges I have faced, participation in the life events of friends and family, and from the words of enlightened, insightful authors. I will be presenting some helpful pieces of wisdom from various authors whose books you may choose to then read yourself. Perhaps their words will resonate with you and get you through a tough day. I hope the words I share with you will move you to a better place. Helping people go from 'surviving to thriving' is my passion in life.

As Ernest Holmes sites in his book, This Thing Called You, there is strength in embracing the divine guidance and inspiration within us. Divine Intelligence suggests that by letting go of our fear, faith can come in. By letting go of our confusion, hope and tranquility has room to enter.  Each step up from the valley brings us closer to the top of the mountain and clarity of thought.

In closing, a quote from Andre Auw’s book The Gift of Wounding:
