Encinitas Woman, 41, Missing Exactly a Month; Public’s Help Is Asked

Kimberly Jo Evans left her home in Encinitas about 10:45 a.m. April 30 and was last seen by her mother.

A 41-year-old Encinitas woman has been missing for a month, and the Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in finding her.

Kimberly Jo Evans left her home in Encinitas about 10:45 a.m. April 30 and was last seen by her mother, according to authorities.

“Kimberly takes prescribed medication and does not have access to the medication,” said Detective Dave Hillen in a news release. “Kimberly left on foot, taking a suitcase and clothing with her. Kimberly did not have a cell phone.”

Hillen said Evans has no vehicle but is known to use public transportation. 

Evans is described as white, 5 feet 6, 110 pounds with old brown eyes and reddish brown hair.  She was last seen wearing a green plaid blouse and green shorts, Hillen said.
