Groundhog Day: The Prediction is In

Phil saw his shadow, forecasting six more weeks of winter weather.

Here in Encinitas, we can expect sun and a high near 65° F today, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 48° F. Temperatures are expected to inch up a bit starting Friday and continuing through the weekend. Expect sunny skies, and highs around 67 to 69° F. Nighttime lows are expected to be around 44° F — so keep your Snuggie handy.
