Calypso Cafe to Close; Will Continue to Host Shows in December

The popular Leucadia eatery Calypso Cafe will close its doors this month after 17 years of business, owner Gilles Knafo announced Thursday.

The popular Leucadia eatery Calypso Cafe at 576 N. Highway 101 will close its doors this month after 17 years of business, owner Gilles Knafo announced Thursday.

He thanked his customers in a note online:

"I have so many wonderful memories it is nearly impossible to convey them all in writing. Stop by and see some of your favorite bands over the next few weeks."
