Eat Up: Restaurant Week is Back

Get the elastic-waisted pants. It's time for Restaurant Week.

It's that time of year, again! Foodies can start salivating as they pick and choose what restaurants they'll eat at during San Diego's Restaurant Week.

The week-long event, which runs from Sept. 18-23, highlights three-course meals at fixed prices from various restaurants around the county.

Guests can choose from three different price points, $20, $30 and $40, for dinner. Reservations for your meals are highly encouraged, as space fills up fast during this frugal feast.

This year, some restaurants have added lunch specials to the event. Prices for a two-course afternoon munch range from $10 to $15 to $20.

More than 180 restaurants are participating. Click here to see all participating restaurants. You can narrow down your choices by type of cuisine, location and price.
