City of Encinitas Recreation Supervisor Nick Buck shows Patch visible features of Encinitas Community Park's skatepark features, which include many ledges for grinding and other tricks for skateboarders.
That's all in addition to a bowl.
The skatepark is designed with an urban plaza concept, which will allow non-skateboarders to enjoy the area, engineer Stephanie Keller said.
Construction costs for the park are $19.3 million. It is slated to open next Summer.
