Editor's note: The following is a press release from Dudek.
Encinitas-based environmental consulting firm Dudek announced Tuesday it has opened a new Pasadena office to serve the Los Angeles metropolitan region. It is the ninth office in the state for Dudek, a 300-person, multidisciplined firm specializing in California environmental and natural resources management projects.
The office is led by long-time Los Angeles-based consultants Eric Wilson and Ruta K. Thomas.
“Eric and Ruta are the right senior leaders to support a Los Angeles-based practice that offers a real alternative in client service in the market,” said June Collins, Dudek’s executive vice president. “As a mid-sized firm we can build strong client relationships because our senior project managers stay with projects from start-to-finish and have ready access to all of our resources to keep projects moving forward. Eric and Ruta share our philosophy of building lasting client relationships through responsive, collaborative service.”
Both Wilson and Thomas have led dozens of high-profile projects for a variety of municipal and private clients. They have managed on-call environmental contracts with agencies throughout the region, including the state of California, Los Angeles County, the city of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Unified School District, and the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
Wilson, a LEED AP certified professional, joins Dudek from AECOM where he led a large multidisciplinary practice across Southern California. Thomas, a registered environmental property assessor (REPA), joins Dudek from Atkins, where she also led a regional team of environmental planners and scientists.
