Encinitas McDonald's Back Open 2 Years After Devastating Fire
A gas explosion destroyed the McDonald's on Encinitas Blvd. Sept. 1, 2011.
After the fire in 2011, the McDonald's on Encinitas Blvd. was demolished and completely rebuilt with a new desigin.
The new McDonald's is not connected to the any of the other businesses in the plaza and features a double drive thru but no play place.
The inside is updated and more modern looking than the previous building.
