According to Pacific San Diego Magazine, Union Kitchen + Tap is opening a second location where Donovan's Prime Seafood was in the Gaslamp.
Construction is starting in January with an anticipated opening of March or April.
The Gaslamp location at 333 Fifth Avenue will have an entertainment license, which could be used for various concepts including live music, reported Pacific San Diego.
Union Kitchen & Tap is located at 1108 S Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas. The neighborhood restaurant and tavern specializes in New American dishes, vintage wines, local craft beer, and cocktails.
