Walmart is hiring about 250 people to work at the new Walmart slated to open this summer in Encinitas.
The retailer is accepting early applications at a kiosk inside the Oceanside Walmart, located at 3405 Marron Road. Starting May 9, hiring will start at the new Encinitas Walmart, located at 1550 Leucadia Blvd.
According to store manager Lisa Rivera, the store will be hiring both full- and part-time associates. She said associates are needed to work in all areas of the new store, including supervisory positions.
