4th Annual Great Kindness Challenge

San Diego children come together for  group activities for the 4th annual Great Kindness Challenge, presented by Kids for Peace.

Kids from all around the world will do kind acts, like complimenting five people, bringing treats to firefighters, picking up trash, and making sack lunches for the homeless.

11:00 a.m. - Cottonwood Creek Park - Children will complete many of the “challenges" together including: push a friend on a swing, leave hearts on cars, display "Kindness Matters" posters for passing traffic, thank a bus driver, etc.

12:00 p.m. - Moonlight Beach - From the park, children will parade down to the beach holding "happy signs" and bring water to lifeguards, clean the beach, feed the birds and compliment each other along the way.

7:00 p.m. - The Great Kindness Challenge Bonfire Celebration - Moonlight Beach - Children from all over San Diego will share their stories, sing songs, make s’mores, and celebrate their day of kindness.
