Stone Flats, a new restaurant concept that opened in June in Encinitas, will hold a Grand Opening Party to benefit the Magdalena Ecke YMCA’s new skate park.
The event, scheduled for July 12, will feature activities for the whole family. There will be gift card giveaways, samples, kids activities and even skaters there to sign autographs.
Stone Flats will offer Free Flatbread Pizzas all day long, with a minimum $5 donation requested. All donations will go directly to the new skate park, which will be renovated this fall.
The new skate park will remain unique with wood, cement and skatelite construction and will feature an expanded “Mini-Land” skate lesson area for ages 3 and older, refurbished bowls, renovated street course and expanded spectator area for easier visibility of the entire park.
