Noted Encinitas guitar performer and teacher Peter Pupping is inviting guitarists of all levels and ages to participate in his .
Pupping has been teaching and performing for more than 30 years and earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from San Diego State University. He has studied with internationally-known classical and jazz guitarists and is in charge of organizing and directing the Encinitas Guitar Orchestra twice each year.

Students looking to learn more about guitar techniques and even music theory are welcomed to join Pupping's class. All music will be played in a group setting and numerous topics will be covered in the eight-week class, including:
- Blue music and its relation to guitar technique
- Music theory
- Overcoming performance anxiety
The guitar seminar will run every Monday from Jan. 9 to Feb 27. Each class will go from 7 to 9 p.m. with one hour of lecture and one hour of performing in a group setting. The classes will take place at , here in Encinitas.
