Hot Dog On A Stick Celebrating Anniversary with Free Food

The celebration will be May 5 and 6.

Hot Dog On A Stick in Encinitas is celebrating its one-year anniversary on May 5 and 6 by offering customers free lemonade when they buy any regular food items. There will also be free hot dogs on a stick from 3 to 4 p.m. on both days.

The Hot Dog On A Stick in Encinitas is the only stand-alone location on a street. In fact, it’s only the second location in more than 65 years to be placed outside of a mall. The only other location that can claim that is the original hot dog stand on the Santa Monica boardwalk.

“We wanted to make the beloved Hot Dog On A Stick brand even more accessible by opening a street location in Encinitas and are thrilled by the warm reception we’ve received from the community over the past year,” said Laurie Sonia, Executive Vice President of Hot Dog On A Stick. “Giving away free lemonade and hot dogs on a stick during our anniversary weekend celebration is our way of saying thank you to our loyal customers and welcoming new customers into our family.”

During this anniversary weekend, raffle tickets for two $25 gift cards to Hot Dog On A Stick may also be purchased for $1 each, with proceeds going to benefit the Encinitas chapter of the Boys and Girls Club of San Dieguito. The Encinitas location of Hot Dog On A Stick strives to stay actively involved in its local community through partnerships with such organizations as Little League, La Costa Canyon High School, local Parent Teacher Associations, and community events.

Hot Dog On A Stick in Encinitas is located at 260 North El Camino Real, Suite B, on the southwest corner of El Camino Real and Mountain Vista Dr. Hot Dog On A Stick is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This is wonderful news. Congratulations to the students, their instructors and Academy staffRead More members -- and to the supportive parents. A theatre education is the best!

Hi Edward, I didn't hear any reports on the scanner or from sources of crashes, rescues or hardRead More landings.

The public deserves an objective, unemotional, factual public debate on this proposition. So far IRead More am still leaning toward a yes vote, but I am keeping an open mind at least through this month.

That may very well have been part of it. Grandma had an affinity for liquor as well, but grandpaRead More hated alcohol with a passion and wouldn't allow a single drop of it in the house. Sometimes the man's leadership is essential.

Aunt Judy was probably a very lonely person and turned to comfort in a bottle. What a darn shame.

And you know what ladies, if you don't like Batman's way you don't have to do it Batman's way. ThisRead More is America, not Batmerica, and it's not Flanderstan either. My grandmother's sister decided to become a career woman instead of geting married and having a family. She started and ran a very successful accounting business, back in the 1930s! So who needs Flanders and his women's lib? There's nothing standing in your way, there never has been. Flanders and the rest are lying to you. Aunt Judy did become an alcoholic though and died rather young because of it. Would that have been different if she had been a family woman? Nobody knows.

Well said, Nama. I was speechless to see how many people Uncle Ben had influenced during his life,Read More but it's no wonder. There may be one less Ben Taylor in our lives, but Heaven just got a whole lot more fun!
