Paris-Inspired Crepes Hit the Streets of San Diego

Crepes Bonaparte makes the delicious crepes. The food truck has quite a following after being on season one of Food Network's "The Great Food Truck Race."

Crepes Bonaparte was started in Orange County and LA by a couple in their mid-twenties and their friend. They attended a casting call for a Food Network show and were casted after literally rolling up to the audition in their food truck.

That show has since led to other television appearances including an episode of Giada De Laurentiis' Giada at Home and Eat St. for the Cooking Channel.

The crepe-making food truck is now in San Diego and can travel to Carlsbad for events.

The crepe I tried with nutella, strawberries and whipped cream was delicous and did remind me of a nutella crepe I devoured while in Paris.

Their crepe makers are actually from France, but their batter is not imported. It's handmade every day.

The truck serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert crepes.
