Stone Flats in Encinitas Closes Less Than 1.5 Years After Opening

The fast-casual eatery opened Memorial Day weekend 2012 off El Camino Real, offering made-to-order flat-bread pizzas and salads. Brown paper now covers the windows with a sign stating the following message:

To Our Guests,

With great sadness we will be closing our doors on November 17. 

We have enjoyed our time in Encinitas immensely and are very grateful for your patronage and support as we've attempted to get our concept off the ground. 

While closing a business is never easy, we thought it best to give everyone a few weeks notice. We also wanted to have a chance to say goodbye to our regulars and thank everybody in person over the next few weeks. 

Thank you, again and we hope to see you before the 17th. Don’t forget to bring your gift cards if you have them.
