One restaurant recently closed.
A note on Barracuda Grill, 641 S. Coast Highway, explains that the establishment has closed.
“Thank you to all of our loyal customers for many great years in Encinitas,” it reads and is signed from "Chef Mo."
The Bier Garden Inc. has applied to take over ownership of the location, according to a notice from the California Department of Beverage Control. The premises are already licensed to sell alcohol, it added.
Various other restaurants are also in the works across Encinitas:
- Native Foods Café on El Camino Real is slated to open this winter.
- Soltera Winery and Kitchen is aiming for a grand opening in late December or early January, according to owner Christopher Van Alyea.
Patch will update on each restaurant’s opening.
