Dick Daniels Named Business Leader of the Year By Escondido Chamber of Commerce

The Escondido Chamber of Commerce has named Dick Daniels “Business Leader of the Year” for 2013. The award was presented to Daniels at the Escondido Chamber of Commerce Annual Installation and Awards Dinner, recognizing his accomplishments and contributions to Escondido, which comprises nearly 150,000 residents. Daniels and his wife, Kathy Daniels, are real estate agents with the Escondido office of Prudential California Realty, one of the nation’s largest residential brokerages and soon to be Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties.

“Dick gives tirelessly to our community and this recognition doesn't come close to recognizing him for all the effort he puts into making sure Escondido is a quality place to call home,” says Cliff Helbock, Escondido Branch Manager.

Daniels has been a long-time business and community leader in Escondido, and has held several positions as Chairman of the Board of the Escondido Chamber of Commerce, president of the 200-member Escondido Rotary Club, and as an elected member of the Escondido City Council where he also served as Mayor Pro Tem. Daniels joined Prudential’s Escondido office this past January.

“Our business community has worked hard to create jobs, thereby contributing to our city’s quality of life. I’m proud to have been recognized for the role I’ve played over the years in that effort,” Daniels says.
