Job Announcement: Development Associate for San Elijo Lagoon

San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy seeks an enthusiastic and talented development professional to support the fundraising and stewardship initiatives that benefit San Elijo Lagoon. View complete job description.

The Development Associate reports to the development director and works closely with the board of directors, fundraising committee, and other committees associated with major campaigns. This person coordinates fundraising events (including biennial gala), assists with appeals and campaigns and is responsible for donor database management and reports. The position requires occasional meetings and fundraising events on evenings and weekends. The Development Associate position requires strong interpersonal and written communication skills in collaborating with a variety of committees, professionals and service providers.

This is a full-time non-exempt position that is open until filled. Several years of fundraising and event management experience are preferred. Data management skills are required. The ideal candidate possesses imagination and enthusiasm, flexibility and self-motivation. Competitive salary is based on skills and experience.
