Surf Industry Manufacturers Association Nominates Hansen Surfboards: Women’s Retailer of the Year, Men’s Retailer of the Year

ENCINITAS, Calif., Dec. 5, 2013 – The Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA) has nominated Hansen Surfboards for Women’s Retailer of the Year and Men’s Retailer of the Year for this year’s Image Awards. The SIMA Image Awards are judged by industry peers and honor the best of the surf industry for 2013. Last year Hansen Surfboards won Men’s Retailer of the Year, and in 2010 Women’s Retailer of the Year.

The SIMA Image Awards program is the only recognition of its kind, identifying the surf industry’s most influential companies and recognizing them for their efforts to advance and grow the industry over the past year.

“This is a huge honor for our entire staff,” said Josh Hansen, “Everyone here works incredibly hard to make sure we carry what our customers need and want, and that they’re taken care of when they shop here. To have our peers nominate us for these awards is epic. Thank you.”
