Launch Party of Photography by Rob Machado

Rob Machado, considered a legend in the surfing community, is continuing to make his mark in the arts. Machado toured the country playing live music with Melali Sessions Band at popular music venues, and now the Cardiff native is going to launch a photo exhibit featuring photography taken both locally and during his surf travels. Machado will have his photography displayed at Encinitas art gallery Bliss 101, which is having a launch party on Saturday, May 5th from 6 – 9 PM.

"I've been interested in photography for years, always taking photos on my surfing trips, but one of my favorite places to shoot is my hometown area in North County," said Machado. "Because Bliss 101 supports local artists and the community, it's a great fit to launch the exhibit of the images I've taken throughout the years."

A portion of the proceeds from sales of Machado's photography and autographed t-shirts will go towards the Rob Machado Foundation. The launch party for Rob Machado’s photography takes place Saturday, May 5th from 6 – 9 PM at Bliss Gallery, located at 687 S. Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas. Visit Bliss101.com for more information.
