I hate to be terribly cliché. I mean, if you live in Encinitas then surely you’ve been here. You probably go quite often, actually. Who needs a review on such a staple in this town? Amazing food, great location – it’s the epitome of beachside dining.
, the hole-in-the-wall breakfast haunt and spot to be seen on a Saturday morning, is located off South Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas, right across from the beach. Perfect.

Healthy, wholesome food. The offerings include fresh, self-serve coffee, smoothies, wheat-grass, classic diner food, buckwheat pancakes (for any gluten intolerant), and acai bowls, that although are a bit on the melted side (you know, since I’m such the acai connoisseur now- see ), are still extremely delicious and overflowing with fruit and granola.
There really is something here for everyone, at any time of day – it’s not just breakfast.
I look forward to my Sunday runs along the 101, with Swami’s as my destination.
