Housings Starts Jump in December
The Wall Street Journal shares information about housing starts in the country.
The Wall Street Journal's Market Watch reports that housing starts jumped to the highest rate in more than 4 years. Starts rose 12.1% which is the highest level since June 2008.
Confidence amoung home builders and building permits to explain the reason for this bump. Also, there is lending for new construction for investor's, builders and new homes.
