Carris Rhodes Replaces Paula Kirpalani as Leucadia 101 Program Manager

Leucadia 101 MainStreet has a new program manager.  
Carris Rhodes will replace Paula Kirpalani who retired after serving nearly a decade with the association. Rhodes is an Encinitas native and is currently the market director at the Encinitas Station Certified Farmers Market. 
She’s worked with the Downtown Encinitas MainStreet Association for more than five years was named one of Patch San Diego’s 30 Under 30 young leaders in 2011.

On Thursday, the Leucadia Main Street honored and celebrated the hard work of Paula Kirpalani, their retiring Program Manager.  Kirpalani served the organization for 9 years and was an integral part of the economic development projects, events and seminars hosted by the Leucadia 101 Main Street.  Most recently she was the orchestrator of the application that secured nationally recognized Main Street status for Leucadia.  
Encinitas Mayor Teresa Barth, along side, councilman Tony Kranz, current board members, past board memers, the city manager Gus Vina, sister organizations Caridff 101 Main Street, DEMA and the Hwy 101 Coordinator Peder Norby all came together at the newly opened Leucadia Restaurant Solterra Winery & kitchen to celebrate, share stories of triumphs and reflect on how the organization has grown over the years.
