Cooler Weather and Rain Forecast
It's supposed to be "April showers bring May flowers," but apparently the weather didn't get the memo.
The first of two late season storms is expected to bring cold, wet and windy weather to San Diego County Tuesday.
The storms will reinforce the cold air that is already in place, causing
temperatures to remain 5 to 15 degrees below normal along the coast and in
the inland valleys, and 20 to 30 degrees below normal in the mountains and
deserts, according to the National Weather Service.
Also, the agency advised that strong gusty southwest to west winds were
in store for the mountains and deserts through this evening.

The second late season storm is expected to arrive on Wednesday. The NWS
advised it would bring even stronger, more widespread southwest to west winds.
Rainfall totals from the two storms will range between a quarter-inch to
an inch, according to the weather service.
