A Colorado native, now a long-time Southern Californian, Edward Cozza is inspired by the works of Garrison Keillor, Carl Hiaasen, Mark Twain and Rex Pickett. A humble humorist with a dry sense of wit, Ed makes friends wherever he goes. He’s a man’s man and a lover of the finer things in life – bourbon, pinot, cigars, and travel to name a few. A highly successful businessman in his former days, his passion now is to give voice to his book’s fictional characters and to travel across the U.S. speaking on his movement called “Unplug & Connect.

Edward is currently touring and scheduling for his 2013/2014 tour, and is happy to connect with contemporary fiction lovers, whiskey and wine aficionados, luxury brand outlets, fans who ponder “How did we get here?” or hosts who seek a speaker to poke gentle fun at today’s generation of “antisocial media” lovers.

Edward has been tapped to submit a speaking platform to TEDx GoldenGate October 2013, and his platform is still being worked. Introducing Nowhere Yet – a dialog-driven experience that taps into the complex, flawed and funny relationships of four forty-something friends travelling to Palm Springs to look at reconnection, reunion, and redemption. Often in spite of themselves, Grant, Rex, Annie and Kat become mindful of time’s passing, and the end of their weekend doesn’t make a tidy package of happy endings. Nowhere Yet just won a 2013 Independent Publisher (IPPY) Gold Medal Book Award for “Best Regional Fiction – West Pacific.”

In April, it was a Winner and Finalist in the Beverly Hills Book Awards. It was also a 2012 top-50 bestseller at Warwick’s Bookstore in La Jolla, California – the country's oldest family owned and operated bookstore. More information on his writing and purpose can be found at his website or on Amazon.
