Pet of the Week: Gauge is a Well-Dressed Cat with his Tuxedo

His name is Gauge because he's careful to "gauge" every situation. Once he's comfortable it's, "Full speed ahead! Time for you to pet the kitty!"

Rancho Coastal Humane Society:

"Gauge" is the adoptable Pet of the Week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. He's a 1 year and 9 month old, 8 pound, domestic short haired cat.

Gauge is well dressed. His tuxedo…made from natural fur…is basic black…accented by his white collar and black tail. There’s a black spot on the tip of his nose that looks like a well-trimmed mustache.

Since he was transferred to RCHS through the FOCAS program, Gauge made lots of friends in the cattery. But he really needs a home of his own.
