Pet of the Week: Zeuz is the Perfect Age for Adoption

One-year-old Zeuz is big and shy.

"Zeus" is the adoptable Pet of the Week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. He's a 1 year old, 55 pound neutered, male, Labrador Retriever - Shepherd mix.

Zeus is a big dog...but not huge. One year old is a great time to adopt a pooch. He's fully grown, but he's still a puppy that's eager to learn whatever you want to teach him. Since he's an active dog, Zeus is willing to try anything you want him to do.

He's a little bit shy in the kennels. He doesn't know that it's just temporary until he gets his real lifelong home and real lifelong family.

Zeus was surrendered to RCHS when his previous family moved into military housing that didn't allow pets.

Zeus's $145 adoption fee includes his medical exam, up to date vaccinations, neuter, and microchip identification.
