Space is available for a 6p.m. tour of Encinitas Station Certified Farmers' Market by Executive chef Monica Szepesy, of Q’ero restaurant.

Response to last week’s announcement of the tour was such that organizers created a second tour at 6 p.m. Wednesday, market director Carris Rhodes told Patch.

“Not only is Szepesy a regular shopper at the market, it is her goal to incorporate produce from the market into her restaurant menu. This takes thoughtfulness and time on her part,” Rhodes stated. “In this exclusive tour, participants will get a behind the scenes look at how chefs pick produce and how they might serve unusual items you find at farmers markets.”

Encinitas Station Certified Farmers' Market is held at 4 p.m. Wednesdays at parking lot B of 600 S. Vulcan Ave.

Upcoming events will include foodie films and a mixology tour of the market with Urban Solace.
