Stressed Students in Cardiff to Benefit from Therapy Dogs

Therapy dogs from Love On a Leash will be on hand to sooth tension and restore peace to harried and stressed students.

MiraCosta College:

Students who need a way to alleviate the stress of studying for final exams will want to attend the “Doggie De-Stress Day,” scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the Student Center walkway at MiraCosta College’s San Elijo Campus at 3333 Manchester Avenue, Cardiff. The event is free.

Therapy dogs from Love On a Leash will be on hand to sooth tension and restore peace to harried and stressed students. Studies have shown that interacting with therapy animals can reduce stress, lower blood pressure and contribute to an overall sense of well-being.
