Surfs Up at Moonlight Beach

Adults and kids can take surf camps this summer at Moonlight Beach.

Already thinking about the summer days when you can spend all day in the sand and surf?

Leucadia Surf School is offering up surf camps this summer at Moonlight Beach. Ocean-lovers of all ages can hang ten throughout the warmest season of the year. The 3-hour surf lessons run from June to August with five-day, four-day and one-day surf camps. The surf lessons are for both adults and children who are beginner surfers and include a surfboard and wetsuit.

Here's a breakdown of the camp prices:

  • Five-day: $300
  • Four day: $240
  • One day: $65 Early Bird Special (so book it now!)

Camp attendees will learn the basics of surfing, including etiquette; safety, riding different types of waves; how to buy a surfboard and wetsuit; how to get through the surf; and much more. Please note that all participants should know how to swim.

The three-hour surf camps run every week, Monday to Friday, from June 18-Aug. 17. The camps begin at 10 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. Leucadia Surf School offers shorter surf lessons year-round.
