What Do You Think of the Firehouse Subs Mural?

If you've been to the new Firehouse Subs in Encinitas, you may have noticed its Encinitas-inspired mural.

It shows a team of firefighters responding to a fire at the beach and one taking a cell phone photo of children playing.

"The cell phone aspect is a humorous play on the Encinitas firefighter trying to capture a photo of the sunset and children, while the department responds to the fire," spokeswoman Emily Oliver told Patch in an email. 

The mural's artist is Joe "Art Brush" Puskas, who paints all of the chain's murals. So far, he's painted more than 620 murals.
